| I weighed 98 kg when I joined Fitness First in May, 2006. Back then I had hardly any exercise experience. I often indulged myself in binge eating which resulted in my obesity. Though I would like to lose some weight, I did not have much confidence in succeeding. I decided to get help by signing up for a personal training program. My trainer, David understood my needs and limitations and carefully designed an exercise program which I could cope with. He also taught me how to change my eating habits gradually. Through cutting back my food intake and progressively intensified exercise routine, I lost 30 kg of body weight after 6 months. My body fat had improved from 42% to 20%. To tell the truth, I had encountered frequent setbacks and relapses in this process. Thanks to the sound advice and continual encouragement of my trainer, I was able to overcome these obstacles and succeed in reaching my exercise goal. My relatives, friends, colleagues and fellow gym members are all amazed by my 'transformation'. Shopping for beautiful clothing has become one of my favourite pastime!Now my body weight stands at 64 kg, ideal for my height and frame. Exercise regularly helps to maintain my weight relatively stable for the past two years. My muscle tone and fitness level are steadily improving. I have learnt how to eat sensibly without having to avoid the foods I like in my diet. I could not have achieved these positive lifestyle changes without the help and guidance of my trainer.Thank you so much, David! |
