Hanging out with friends, watching TV, movies, going for gourmet cuisine plus going to gym two or three
times a week is my day-to-day life. It seems quite balance and healthy. But actually it became part of my
routine life. I need to find something which is fun, excited and healthy. However, this idea burst after I
suffer from runner knees, bad shoulder and broken arm. And randomly an amazing miracle happened. I got
a call from Fitness First trainer introducing their 1:1 Muay Thai course. I used to love Muay Thai, Combat
and it is time to fine tune my skills. Alright, let’s see how good it is.
After the first lesson, I found that I was not fit enough even I go to gym quite often. I must work out in a
wrong way. My personal trainer, Lawrence Wong, I called him Master Wong. He designed a programme
for me. But I don’t feel confident about the trainer, and doubted if the programme really works for me.
Just after a few lessons, it has been proven that I worried too much. I had to start from the beginning,
learn from the basic, learn how to walk, sit, jump, run, build up strong muscle etc. As I mentioned before
I have runner knees problems and also my shoulders. Follow with Master Wong’s instruction and his
well-designed programme, now I don’t need to visit the physiotherapists any more. I am tough enough
have full set of scuba diving gear on. I am able to climb up stairs to the boat without suffering from
knees problem. I passed my diving license. The most unbelievable thing is that now I participated in
many running race which I never done before. Back to the day, I always doubt about whether I could
finished the race. Master Wong encouraged me that I am capable enough and I can finish those
contests. Through his guide and training programme, I did it. My finished time is getting better and
better every race.
Master Wong is not only the coach, trainer but also the physiotherapist. A Real Master indeed. Tack
