About Us

Football fever has been spreading all over the world recently. The matches of 2010 FIFA World Cup certainly inspired us all. East Asia Games Gold Medalist, Sun Hei Sports Club football player So Wai Chuen has a winning spirit and is enjoying working out at Fitness First. Although the football season has ended, Wai Chuen is training hard to prepare for the next season and the coming Asia Games in November. Due to the outstanding performance in 2009 East Asia Games, Wai Chuen hopes to keep up his performance in Asia Game and representing Hong Kong to win again.

During football match season, Wai Chuen will workout 3 to 4 days a week in Fitness First, focusing on body coordination and response training. While off season, he works out 4 to 5 days a week in Fitness First to maintain and build muscle strength. Wai Chuen says Fitness First is an ideal training place to build his muscle strength and restore muscle fatigue outside of the football field. To Wai Chuen, a football player should not only concentrate on feet training but also whole body coordination, strength and balance. Wai Chuen finds that Fitness First provides a comfortable surrounding and state-of-the-art gym facilities to help him achieve his training goals and keep his body in the best form. Moreover, Wai Chuen loves the amazing harbour view in Fitness First Tsim Sha Tsui club and he really enjoys working out in front of the relaxing sea view.

"One should not make excuses for not exercising", says Wai Chuen, “You only need 30 minutes to an hour, 3 to 4 times a week to achieve good health. Look for an activity or workout in the club that you enjoy and time will fly!
