5 Special Juice Recipes to Inject Colour into Your Day

These homemade juice recipes are a fun way to get healthy and much needed fruit and veg into your diet. Juice all of the ingredients through a quality juice extractor, and they will make 3 – 4 glasses.
 
Blushing Juice 
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 knob of ginger
  • 1 medium beetroot (peeled)


Banana and Almond Smoothie
  • 2 bananas
  • 3 cups (600ml) rice milk
  • 1/4 cup (50g) raw almonds, soaked
  • 2 tablespoons spirulina
  • Blend bananas, rice milk and almonds and pour into a glass.
  • Mix spirulina with a little bit of filtered water and drizzle it over the top of the drink.
 
 
Mellow Yellow Juice
  • 1/2 peeled pineapple
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 2 – 3 sprigs of mint
 
Gwinganna Orange Juice
  • 2 oranges
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 1 lime
 
Green Giant Juice
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 silverbeet leaf
  • 1 lime
  • 3 sprigs of parsley
