Fitness First Hong Kong named 5 Years Plus Caring Company

Hong Kong Council of Social Service recognizes fitness clubs for outstanding community outreach efforts

Hong Kong, 28 March 2018 – Fitness First (Hong Kong) Limited today announced it has been recognised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service as a Caring Company for the 5 year in a row. The company now has the distinction of being a 5 Years Plus Caring Company, demonstrating its excellent corporate citizenship.

Fitness First is known all across Hong Kong for its fully-equipped fitness centres, specialised classes and knowledgeable personal trainers. At the same time, Fitness First is as equally dedicated to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. One of our core value is “We Care”, which means we strive to win with our members and to make a difference to individuals and groups in our community. Our We Care value includes changing lives through fitness and many other ways.

To demonstrate care for society, Fitness First has been a proud supporter of various events in Hong Kong. Recently, these include flag-selling, blood donation, and even Extreme Ride charity. Hand in hand with the Boys’ & Girls’ Club Association of Hong Kong, Fitness First has also hosted a healthy workshop for children. The company is also proud of its efforts in visiting local nursing homes to teach exercise techniques to senior citizens. Employees are also encouraged to volunteer for important causes.



The 5 Years Plus Caring Company Logo is awarded for enterprises that have been a Caring Company for five consecutive years or more. Launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme inspires enterprises to care for society by participate in corporate citizenship events and social service affairs. Through partnerships with the community, these awardees have donated hundreds of millions of dollars to support various social programmes, conducted hundreds of thousands of hours of voluntary work, and provided employment opportunities for vulnerable groups across Hong Kong.
